NO REFUNDS / NO RETURNS POLICY

By placing an order with Lilacs and Lemons Farmhouse Bakery (“Bakery”), you (“Customer”) acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. All Sales Are Final

Due to the perishable and custom nature of our food products, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or returns under any circumstance. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Cancellations due to inclement weather

  • Acts of God (including but not limited to: floods, tornadoes, fires, or other natural disasters)

  • Public emergencies or epidemics

  • Injury, illness, or death of the purchaser or third party

  • War, civil unrest, or terrorism

  • Personal conflicts or scheduling errors

There will be absolutely no exceptions.

2. Waiver of Liability

By purchasing, consuming, or distributing any product from Lilacs and Lemons Farmhouse Bakery, Customer voluntarily assumes all risks and expressly waives and releases the Bakery, its owners, employees, affiliates, agents, and assigns from any and all liability for:

  • Injury, illness, or death resulting from consumption or use of our products

  • Any adverse reaction due to undisclosed food allergies or dietary restrictions

  • Claims by third parties consuming products purchased by the Customer

The Bakery shall not be held liable for any injury or damages caused by the misuse of any product or by failing to disclose allergy or dietary information at the time of order.

3. Food Allergies

It is the sole responsibility of the Customer to fully disclose any food allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of order. Failure to do so constitutes a waiver of any liability for reactions, illness, or other health-related issues. Our facility processes ingredients including, but not limited to: dairy, eggs, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, and gluten-free grains. Although great care is taken to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee zero cross-contact.

4. Shipping & Delivery Disclaimer

Lilacs and Lemons Farmhouse Bakery takes great care in packaging all shipments to maintain the integrity of our products during transit. We utilize appropriate materials and shipping methods to reduce risk, especially during periods of extreme temperatures. However, once your order leaves our facility, we are not responsible for any loss, damage, or delay.

  • We are not liable for damage to packaging, labels, inserts, or products caused during shipping.

  • We are not responsible for products affected by heat, cold, humidity, or other weather conditions during transit.

  • We are not liable for delays, damage, or loss caused by the shipping carrier or delivery service chosen by the buyer at checkout.

All risk of loss transfers to the Customer upon delivery of the product to the carrier. Claims related to shipping issues must be filed directly with the shipping provider.

5. Limitation of Legal Recourse

By proceeding with a purchase, the Customer expressly waives any and all rights to initiate or join in litigation, arbitration, or any form of legal dispute against Lilacs and Lemons Farmhouse Bakery, including claims for personal injury, illness, wrongful death, or product dissatisfaction. This waiver is intended to be fully binding and enforceable to the maximum extent permitted under Missouri law.

By placing an order or consuming any product from Lilacs and Lemons Farmhouse Bakery, you confirm that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to the terms above.
